shunt imminent

As you may have read in A6581's thread, an imminent mega shunt is to occur here at Swithland. And during this progress, it is hoped DB992447 will be moved closer to our work area and work then hopefully commence on its overhaul.

Work required:
Clean and paint the under frame
test vacuum cylinder and possibly overhaul
weld a new plate to hopper where rotten, only on one discharge side so not a big job
clean inside and outside hopper
overhaul the release mechanism
repaint into Indian red

Future project

This will be the Swithland Wagon Groups side project, if work is not possible on either A6071 or A6581 then work will happen on this wagon.  Below are a couple of photos taken in summer of 2013.
